Bio

I draw and avidly collect graphic novels, infographics, maps, and illustrated books. 

My love for visual storytelling began many years ago during my childhood in Bulgaria, which was still behind the Iron Curtain. The only comic magazine you can find was the French Pif Gadget. My best friend and I shared a single subscription because only one was available in our town. Each of us would get our issue every other week, but the sheer joy those little stories, told through drawings and dialogue bubbles, brought us was indescribable.

I attended Fine Arts High School and later graduated with a Master’s in Fine Arts from the National Art Academy in Bucharest. My very first job as a student was as an Editorial Illustrator for a political magazine.

Later on, I pursued a career as a User Experience designer but never stopped drawing.

Here, you can see some of my finished projects, as well as those in progress, ideas, studies, attempts, experiments, bits and pieces and random doodles. You’ll also find samples of corporate illustration I created over the years for various companies as well as animation.
